The beginning of 2020 was marked by pleasant events for SSEU: scientific teams of SSEU won grants for scientific projects.
In January 2020tThe Russian Foundation for Basic Research summed up the results of the Contest of Basic Research Projects. Among the winning projects was the project "Methodology and Tools of Modeling the Dynamics of Regional Branch Cycles for Balanced and Sustainable Spatial Development of Russia" presented by the University research team under the supervision of Professor V.K. Semenychev.
Relevance of the project is justified by the trends of increasing cyclicality of the world economy, the tasks and priorities of the Strategy of Spatial Development of the Russian Federation for the period until 2025, focused on balanced and sustainable spatial development of the regions. The aim of the project is to develop methodology and tools for modeling the dynamics of mesoeconomic indicators, aimed at predicting industry-specific regional cycles for balanced and sustainable spatial development of Russia. The methodology and tools are designed to create scientific and methodological support to calculate and identify the stages of short- and medium-term cycles of the Russian regions in the context of promising economic specializations. The study will be implemented with financial support from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research in 2020-2022.
The research will be implemented with the financial support of RFBR in 2020-2022. The "History of the Motherland" Foundation summarized the results of the Contest of the projects to support exhibition and exposition activities.
