On July 21, 2021 at the Boiling Point of Samara State University of Economics a strategic session of the National Social Initiative was held. The main outcome of the event was the draft roadmaps for the implementation of the National Social Initiative in Samara region in the areas of "Social and Socially Responsible Initiative" (Center for Quality of Life Practices) developed by industry experts, employees of non-profit organizations and representatives of Regional executive authorities together with representatives of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects (Center for Quality of Life Practices) draft roadmaps for implementation of the National Social Initiative in the Samara Region in the areas of "Social Protection", "Labor Market and Employment Support", "Healthcare", and "Education".
The Samara region's application was supported by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for individual support within the framework of the NSI, and at the strategic session experts worked on those life situations that people often face. The National Social Initiative is designed to increase citizens' satisfaction with social services and generally improve the quality of life. The idea was announced at a meeting of the ASI Supervisory Board in June 2020. According to its results, President Vladimir Putin ordered the project to be implemented throughout the country. A distinctive feature of the National Social Initiative is a client-centered approach, the formation of services for people based on their needs, increasing citizen satisfaction with the quality of social services.

In fact, today we are at the boiling point of Samara State University of Economics. Indeed, probably such a think-tank, boiling point, connected with the social rating, is exactly here today" - Alexander Fetisov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Samara region.
Samara State University of Economics, being the center of social and economic development of the region during its 90-year history, has initiated life situation "Learning in the university". Its aim is a creation of complex digital services and solutions on the basis of digital platforms in accordance with "Lean Production" methodology (elimination of excessive barriers and unreasonable procedures) in order to increase student satisfaction with quality and efficiency of higher education processes, regardless of the territorial affiliation of the educational organization and the place of residence of the students. The result of implementing this lifecycle will be a single "seamless" customer journey for students based on digital services and full-cycle solutions for higher education.
"Our university has become a key initiator of the most important life situation in the direction of education. That life situation is the education at the university. When students from admission to the university to graduation go through the whole educational process . They are faced with many services: the registration of documents in the dean's office, in the institute, in the structural units of the university, the passing practice, transfer from one program to another" - explains the head of the Department of Regional Economics and Management at Samara State University of Economics, PhD in Economics Natalia Polyanskova.
It should be reminded that in June 2020, following the results of the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the SSEU, which included prominent graduates of the university, Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation and Svetlana Chupsheva, director general of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects, an autonomous nonprofit organization. The university was determined as a regional service commissioner for implementation of the National Social Initiative in the Samara region. Its aim will be to provide methodological support and educational activities to popularize the service approach in the provision of social services.
